El miércoles 14 de abril en el Auditori del Palau de la Generalitat se ha celebrado el acto de entrega de los premios Narcís Monturiol 2009. Francesc Xavier Rius, catedratico de Química Analítica y responsable del grupo de investigación consolidado en Quimiometria, Cualimetria y Nanosensores de la URV, ha sido merecedor de la Medalla Narcís Monturiol, por su contribución al progreso científico y tecnológico del pais.
